Wall-X EPS Panel
M Grade expanded polystyrene containing both flame retardant and insect repelling additives confirming to AS 1366:1992 Part 3. Standard thickness are 40mm, 60mm & 75mm supplied in sheet sizes of 1200mm x 2500mm (custom sizes available)
Base Coat
A polymer modified cement render with excellent adhesion to the Wall-X EPS Panel.
Alkali Resistant Fibreglass Mesh
6mm weave, 160gm. This is a critical component and must not be substituted with a lower quality mesh. The mesh must be placed at the face of the base coat.
Flexible Acrylic Texture
The system is designed to be finished with at least 1mm of acrylic trowel – on texture over coated with an acrylic paint, available in a wide range of colours.

Thermal Insulation
The insulation performance of Wall-X EPS Panels will not deteriorate over time, delivering a constant R value. R value is the measure of the materials resistance to heat transfer. The higher the R value, the greater the insulating effect. Energy efficient design and construction delivers houses and buildings that are more comfortable to live in and cheaper to run. Insulation acts to keep heat out in summer and heat in during winter.
Fire Retardant
Wall-X EPS Panels contains fire retardants which will self extinguish a flame.
Insect Resistant
Wall-X EPS Panels contains insect repelling additives, therefore does not provide any nutritional value to ants, termites or rodents.
Biologically Inert
Wall-X EPS Panels is an inert material that will not rot and is highly resistant to mildew.
Water Absorption
Wall-X EPS Panels are a closed material that does not absorb moisture or exhibit any capillary action when in contact with the ground.
Impact Resistant
Wall-X EPS Panels have excellent compressive and flexural strength and when over coated with our specified reinforced render system, offers resistance for most domestic situations.
Environmental Benefits
Wall-X EPS Panels contain neither CFC’s nor HCFC’s and do not emit any poisonous gases. EPS is 100% recyclable and requires less energy to produce than more traditional building materials.
